'Fester' is a video, sound and sculptural installation, expressing the sensation of anxiety. It uses bodily metaphors to physicalize internal sensations of panic, and forces the viewer into a space where anxiety is simulated around them.
The work utilises projected video to map digital forms across bodily sculptures, creating a layered interaction. Abstracted hands create choreographed shapes that simulate both a heart beating and skin crawling, acting as uncomfortable
extensions of the body.
